lichess.org/editor/r1q2k2/2R1N3/3N1PB1/B1r5/4n3/5n2/1P4P1/1K2Q2R_b_-_-The puzzle doesn't work. White wins.
Do you like it?
I find that position amazing, almost mind blowing.
we wrote at the same time the post, so I did not see it,
It does work man, I have checked with Stockfish and gives me the same solution.
I checked it as well, all black can do is sacrifice pieces in order to prolong the checkmate sequence.
My apologies, I stand corrected. It's a stalemate.
It is black sacrificies all his pieces, two knights, two rooks and a queen all except the bishops to draw.
Ok I have decided to improve it, here is with another piece a bishop, now It is a sacrifice of 6 black pieces, I have only tested one but I think It works too
here:
this is the puzzle
lichess.org/editor/r1q2k2/2R1N3/2r1PPB1/B2P2P1/2n1n3/8/KPb3P1/N3Q2R_b_-_-and this is my solution
http://en.lichess.org/c4ZINIZPGFggas to add another piece the last one, the bishop, its probably impossible but I might try other day.
Maybe this,
http://en.lichess.org/FEo8IlBB2I4ubut I am not sure is forced and black sacrificies all his pieces in order to draw,
otherwise I check it tomorrow if it does not work.
#8: 7. Kxa1 wins for white
#9: Bf6 is forced, yes, due to mate on h8, but after Bf6, Nc8 wins for white.
