Great! I'd like to get the chance to do it some time. Too bad i'm a fixed queen-pawn opener. :( Is there a similar trap for queen-pawn openings?
Really nice
Such things are much less likely to happen in queen-pawn openings, but the following moves are similar:
1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 dxc4 4.e4 Bg4 5.Bxc4 Nf6 6.Ne5 Bxd1 7.Bxf7# (or 6... Bh5 7.Qxh5)
1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 dxc4 4.e4 Bg4 5.Bxc4 Nf6 6.Ne5 Bxd1 7.Bxf7# (or 6... Bh5 7.Qxh5)
TinchoVM I'm a QP opener too - most people hate us :) This was my first non QP opening playing white in WEEKS!
yes
Congrats! That must have felt good.
i too. it happened 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bc4 Bg4 4. h3 Bxf3 5. Qxf3 Nd7 6. Qxf7 mate
