Vugar Gashimov was a top GM a few years ago. Together with GM Topalov he was one of the very few well known GMs who played the Modern Benoni as black passionately.

IM David Norwood was my favorite Modern Benoni player a few decades ago. He's now a GM. I saw him play in a European Youth championship, where he lost with a sharp Modern Benoni game against some young fellow by the name of ... Vassily Ivanchuk.

GM Dimitri Reinderman is know for his colored hair, which changes from red to green, blue, black etc.
Many years ago I played him otb rapid when he was still an IM.
I was impressed how well he was concentrated on the board, and how he swept me off the board in an endgame.

IM Manuel Bosboom is the most well-known creative chess player in Holland. He is also known for winning many otb blitz tourneys years ago.

I must say that I was very impressed looking at a few studies on Lichess by IM Opperwezen. Mindboggling tactics in crazyhouse games. Great stuff.

No particular order: Emanuel Lasker, Garry Kasparov, Alexander Morozevich and Magnus Carlsen.
