Songs that sound the same

Whether intentional, accidental, or in the public domain, there are songs that bear a striking resemblance to another.

Post some that you're aware of. Thumbs up if you like the original, thumbs down if you like the later song (and, yes, you can vote for your own posts).

Here's one that I've noticed, that I haven't seen referenced before:
The Rolling Stones "As tears go by" (1964) vs. Soul Asylum "Without a trace" 1992.
I love both songs, but I gotta give this one to the Stones - there's just such a richness to their sound that speaks to life experience.

as i am not a big fan of hip/hop or Rap, those tracks used by also Eninem (Aerosmith - Dream On) and also Under Pressure is a classic among hip hop artists, even now they use 80s retro songs as their intros like this is the rhythym of the night.. a copy is to take a phrase or a riff from a song and sound a bit "different"..

Check this out. Listen to the intro by METALLICA - WELCOME HOME (SANITARIUM) released in 1986.
LISTEN TO : BLEAK HOUSE - RAINBOW WARRIOR by New wave of british heavy metal band RELEASED IN 1981.

-------
Example number two:
IRON MAIDEN - HALLOWED BE THY NAME (RELEASED IN 1982)
BECKETT- LIFE'S SHADOW RELEASED IN 1974

the last phrase from Hallowed be thy name

Mark my words, believe my soul lives on
Don't worry now that I have gone
I've gone beyond to seek the truth
FWIW, Hallowed be thy Name is one hell of a lot better than Life's Shadow.
Of course @clousems i am a big maiden fan! They couldn't play this track until they fixed it around the original authors though.
When I was a kid, "Last Christmas" (Wham!) always reminded me of "Can't Smile Without You" (Barry Manilow).
The most blatant one of all:

"Don't Let Me Down" -- Beatles
"Don't Let Me Down" -- Bad Company
