Making Resignation Confirmation an Option

Is it possible to make resignation confirmation an option in settings, at least for blitz and bullet? It's annoying for me and I don't recall in several thousands of games now ever resigning accidentally. I'm curious about the thought of others if this hasn't already been covered. Thanks

Agreed. I know Thibault has a lot to do and we need to respect that, but when he has time it shouldn't be too much trouble to implement such an option.

I find the new resignation "confirmation" to be *really* annoying. I didn't even know how it worked, until I fooled around with it for awhile. (I already find it difficult to parse the icon mearnings, making them *not* do what I expect makes it nearly impossible.)

Let me add my voice to those who would *much* prefer to have the confirmation made optional. I've played many games and *never* accidentally clicked resign.

Any progress on the optional resignation button? It can't be that hard to implement....Can future changes not be thrust upon people but maybe voted on?

As far as I can tell, it ain't coming... thibault closed the request on github almost immediately with explanation "no," if I remember rightly.

Why not? How hard can it be to implement an option to turn it off? If people can't control their mouse they shouldn't be playing chess in the first place.

I dunno. Flugsio made a workaround in the meantime, but you have to download it as a toolbar extension.

So there was a reason... that there are too many options already. Maybe the existing ones could be better organised, in that case? Judging by the feedback, this is deserving of an option.

I agree with the "there's way too many settings already", but would say that just getting rid of this silly "resignation confirmation" is a better solution.
