What's going on at Lichess? I've not been so active in the last few weeks, and just realised that there seem to be far fewer players here than in the Spring.
I'm sure we were having 7 or 8 thousand players online, and now it's just shown half that.
Have I missed something major?
Well, Lichess is usually at its peak, which is at least 10,000 players, from 12:00-3:00. The number of players kind of dramatically decreases from there.
I've left this topic for a month to see what happens, but what I said still stands. There are currently 4014 players on lichess. Is there a reason for the decline, or is it one of those subjects we really oughtn't to talk about? :O
The last moths have seen lower traffic yes (probably vacations), but the difference doesn't seem that big to me when looking over the whole days.
