Variation-Freestyle Chess

Freestyle chess is when the original placement of the pieces is determined by the player rather than convention.

There is a setup phase in which the pieces are placed one by one, alternately, ANYWHERE on the board with the following limitations:

Neither player can place their king in check
White cannot check blacks king but black may check white
Pawns can be place no further than the 4th rank but can be placed on the 1st rank.

After all the pieces are placed play begins with normal chess rules:
minus en passant, castle.

Could this variant be added to lichess?

I think it'd make more sense if neither side was allowed to place their king in check. If the last piece you have left to place is your king and there are no legal squares for it, you lose the game. Seems like a nice way to balance it out.
or make the rule to place the king first (on the 1st/8th) rank.

But looks like a nice variant anyway :)
if you cant place the king you should lose, not draw. Ive never seen it happen anyway. usually there is a place (but not always a good place)

letting black place white in check during the setup phase means whites first move might be getting out of check (if he can). It evens the chances greatly for black.
another limitation during the setup should be that the bishops must be opposite colours
