Lichess is stupid.

My browser crashed for 6 seconds and when I returned my opponent has already claimed victory, this is stupid! Also the site is full of cheaters (you make a move in a crucial moment of the game that might decide who wins and suddenly the other guy leave the game for no reason 10 or 20 times without spending a second thinking).
My windows 10 updated when I told it to reschedule; caused a loss. I wish the website was coded so that there's a 2-3 min grace period to restart browser/PC incase of a disconnect.

I have noticed if you close a tab during the game, and go back you can resume the game but I don't think it waits long at all. How long does it wait?
When my opponent is "gone" for a long time in blitz, I assume they are checking with their computer. This is a good assumption when the opponent is crushed they starts to find really good moves.

#1: Resigning is not a form of cheating. I did resign is a complicated position, because I found a multimove sequence where I lost my Queen. My opponent did not see the combination, he asked after the game, but I felt disgust with myself for playing into such a bad position.

#2 I think the site waits for 25 seconds before giving the option to decide the result. (Should there be an option to claim a loss?) In My opinion Windows(c) is the worst OS. They constantly ask me if I really want to do something, then they do stuff without my authorization.

#3 Who talked about resigning? Do you think I'm ranting here because someone wants to give me free points? LOL I was talking about people who get the red icon and when they return they already know the answer to the universe, life and everything without even thinking 10 seconds.
#5: I mentioned that in my opening remarks.
I got my answers mixed up. The last post I read about cheaters was about sandbagging. I wanted to ask about the red icon. Does that mean that this web page in not in focus? The person no longer has a ping?
Back when I was young, I would play two games on Yahoo. This would lower my vision on both board, but when one was finished, I would play the other much better. I do agree that there many more cheaters than there were, but I do suggest that you not label all who play in this manner cheaters.
When I started on lichess, I had no problem with its performance. Now I barely get through three games without having to reconnect. Just like nightclubs, once too many people go to a place, it stops being popular.
When i plugged out my internet modem, I lost the game I was playing. I wish lichess would do it so that I could still play against users all over the world, while offline. /s
Rairden should consider upgrading his wonky Windows 10 to Windows 7.
I strongly disagree about the site being full of cheaters. I feel like I've almost never encountered a cheater on this site before. I think this is mainly because of the awesome community this site attracts :D Chess.com on the other hand seems infested with cheaters, especially in classical time controls. Their community is also pretty bad so there must be some type of correlation.

However, I do agree that this site is too quick to offer the claim victory button. I remember that I once accidentally closed chrome in an equal game and think I spent about 20-30 seconds to reopen it and return to my game, only to find my opponent had already claimed the victory.
