Atomic Chess! :-D

What is the deal with this opening:


The first move is forced for black, and when white moves to d4 there's basically no happy solutions that won't leave you at a huge disadvantage. at least that's been my experience. What are the strongest responses to this?

Nh6

That may be the best, but you're still inviting him to play Nb5 which is either going to lead to substantial material lose or things like a knight lodge on C7 forcing the king to move...

Nb5 is losing right away to Ng4 f3 Nf2

Whoa...

You could also do Nc6 I think. But Nh6 is the best response
