Why are people allowed to give you time in bullet?

Bullet is 1 minute chess... if i click on a f*cking bullet game that means I agreed to a 1 minute game. Why is someone allowed to give me infinite time? Makes absolutely no sense. Anytime this happens, I exit the browser even if I'm winning. What is the rationale from the brilliant minds at lichess as to why this feature exists?
No one is forcing you to use that time. What's the issue?
I can think of only 1 reason to be annoyed and I hope it's this one - when my opponent let's their clock run out instead of forfeiting and I feel especially petty I premove the (usually) mate in 1 and give them a lot of time to prevent them from starting another game. If you waste my time I will waste yours.
Switch it off, if you don't like it.

I think you need an account to do that
