You should spend more time on your moves in a long game. If you don't want to spend time, why not play a faster time control?
The same goes for your opponent too. Terrible that they played 26...Re7?? in three minutes with almost an hour on the clock and didn't even bother considering checks. I'm guessing that they saw Qxf2+ Kh1 but stopped calculating there. Never stop calculating on your opponents move, especially when they have a forcing move!
Nice escape though, always a good feeling.
